...Google rents goats instead of lawn mowers? They say that it's "A lot cuter to watch than lawn mowers." All this and more could be found at the website that I have supplied on the bottom of this post.
Among those facts, you also probably didn't know that this was Google's first "doodle." (the changing Google logo graphics)
Also notice that this is Google's first logo. Ever. Why does it have the exclamation mark? We may never know.
Another interesting fact is that Google has a company dinosaur. Just outside of the Googleplex (the main building in the Google "command center") is a dinosaur skeleton that has been put up for "Stan," a real dinosaur found nearby.
Anyway, check out this website for more cool facts:

Argh! I be more wearied than a land lubber...
Ahoy mateys! Thar she blows! Man your...ah, I can't do it. Well, as you can so clearly tell, yesterday was International Talk like a Pirate Day. Unfortunately, I missed this momentous occasion while I was up North.
Don't know what I'm talking about? Well, if you were to read my post on Pastafarianism, you would have realized that yesterday was this holiday. Follow the link on that blog post, and you will find out more.

Subliminal Messages?
Ah yes, subliminal messages. Strangely, they are almost everywhere and yet we rarely ever actually notice them! For instance, tell me if you can find the hidden word in this picture:
and even posters and product packages have it:
http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=24598
The main thing I'm trying to get at is that messages like these are everywhere in life. So be aware and try to find them for yourselves: you'll be surprised.
Yeah? Found it? No? Look closer to the bottom of the flowers and you will see it here :
These images can be found everywhere! Hit movies from Disney have it :

Did you know that...?
...now I am going to be adding a new feature to the blog? Yup, totally unexpected. Any who, as you can see, it will be called 'Did you know that...?' I will be posting random facts, commenting on them, and maybe posting a link so that you may reference it for yourself. So, here we go...
The male platypus is partly poisonous?
You heard it here first, folks. The male platypus has a tiny brown spur on the back of it's claw which can actually shoot out poison!
It uses this poison to defend its self, and this poison can actually be powerful enough to kill a dog! You better keep your pets in next time you visit Australia...
Strangely, only males have this poisonous 'spur.' The females' spur falls off on their first year of living.
You can check for yourselves if you want to here:
http://library.thinkquest.org/J002754/jc2.html
Pretty neat, huh?
Anyway, that concludes my first 'Did you know that...?' post. Be sure to check again for the next one!

Have you converted to Pastafarianism?
If not, then your probably another one of them normal people...any who, if you want to know what the heck I am talking about, well listen up. Pastafarianism is a 'parody' religion that was introduced a few years ago. The 'God' of this religion is the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM). The holy sort of people are pirates. Don't believe me? Go to these two links...one for Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastafarian
and one for the official website:
http://www.venganza.org/
There, you see? Old Al's not crazy. Anyway, Pastafarianism is quite popular, and sightings of the FSM have been seen almost everywhere. Who knows? Maybe you will see an appearance of His Noodliness too...

A country that is 8 square miles in area?
What? This is crazy! I was about to research something for school when Google showed me this in the search bar. I cannot believe this!
This country is called Nauru and is right smack dab in the southern parts of the Pacific Ocean. It was formerly known as Pleasant Island, and is more than 3000 years old. It even has it's own language, Nauruan!
This is just a brief history of it all, but if you want to know more, here is a link to the Wikipedia page:

Still...8 square miles!

Catfish...the movie?
Well I just heard about a movie called 'Catfish' on a youtube advertisement while I was watching a video. It said that after I see the movie, nothing will be the same about Facebook.
How right they were!
Just after seeing the trailer, I was intent on finding out what was supposed to happen in the rest of the movie. The whole plot was brilliant, and it really appeals to people in the 'Facebook Age,' who constantly go on Facebook, Twitter, etc. I was so intent on finding out what happens, that I even search up a spoiler for the movie!
Here is a link to the trailer so that you may see it :

Believe me, you do not want to spoil it for yourselves. Just wait until the movie comes out in September 17, 2010, and you can see just how thrilling it is.
However, if you are as impatient and lazy as I am, you may want to read the spoiler here : http://www.ifc.com/blogs/indie-eye/2010/01/catfish.php
and the review of the movie here:
